Governance

RAF Football Governance Structure

Regenerate, Evolve, Excel. The RAF Football Association provides football opportunities for all. We do so against a strong governance ethic to ensure that we provide a modern, inclusive and safe environment that meets our legal requirements and promotes best practice in all that we do. We have several key stakeholders that we report to; The FA, Charities Commission, Companies House and the RAF Directorate of Sport (DRS).

The RAF FA is committed to progressing towards achieving greater diversity on its Board, including the adoption of Board diversity targets to include but not be limited to historically underrepresented. The targets shall be determined by the Association and shall reflect the diversity of its local area as evidenced through local demographic data. The RAF community is around 5% historically underrepresented. The RAF FA shall adopt a target of, and take all appropriate actions to encourage, a minimum Board diversity of 25% as well as having 33% independent members on its Board.
