***INTERNAL SERVING RAF PERSONNEL ONLY MAY APPLY***
A vacancy has arisen for the position of RAF Senior Representative Team Players Secretary. This is a high profile secondary duty which requires excellent administrative skills and liaison with outside agencies to ensure the smooth delivery of fixtures. Duties include but are not limited to:
a. Arranging Squad gatherings for each season, in advance of the start of the season where possible, including:
i. Liaising with the appropriate Line Manager (LM) to ensure player release throughout the season.
ii. Liaise with Team Manager (TM) to create a pool of players prior to the start of the season.
b. Ensuring that appropriate data is entered into the Combined Men’s Database. Data includes:
i. Contact details of staff and players inc LM details.
ii. Player appearances and statistics.
iii. Clear visibility of active SRT players
c. Making the detailed arrangements for Squad gatherings, including:
i. Issuing call-up letters to players and staff at least 1 month in advance of any gathering.
ii. Collating returns to call-up letters
iii. Booking player/staff accommodation for each squad gathering
iv. Booking referees/officials for each home fixture
v. Liaising with opponents to ascertain kit colours, numbers attending etc
vi. Book post match refreshments
d. Trend player attendance and advise the GM of any recommendations post analysis.
e. Notifying the GM when any player has made his sixth appearance for the Squad and is thus eligible for the award of a RAFFA tie.
During squad gatherings
f. Providing a nominal roll of all staff and players.
g. Confirming all players and staff are appropriately accommodated at the gathering venue and any administrative issues are resolved.
h. Confirming post match refreshments are booked through local resources.
i. Any other duties detailed by the GM/Dep GM.
