*** RAF FA Lifetime Achievement Award 2020-21*** 

Nominations are welcomed for the RAF Football Associations 2020-2021 Life Time Achievement Award.  Last season’s award recipient has also been selected but has not yet been announced as the Annual Dinner was cancelled due to Covid. Therefore, it is planned to award two awards, 2019-20 & 2020-21, at the end of this season. 

The RAF FA Lifetime Achievement Award is open to players, coaches, administrators, volunteers and anyone involved in the sport who has made a sizeable contribution to Royal Air Force football over a long period of time. Nominees considered will have demonstrated approximately 20 years of service or more to the game.  When considering a nominee, the following criteria should be considered: 

• Integrity both on and off the field above reproach. 

• Leadership, dedication and example in the development of character, integrity and sportsmanship of all those involved in RAF Football, both on and off the football field. 

• An inspiration and positive example to all. 

Anyone can submit an nomination, against the criteria detailed above.  Your nomination should consist of why, giving clear examples, this person deserves to be nominated for this award. Nominations should be submitted, in confidence, on the attached template via email to RAF Vets administrator Andrew McCulloch andrewmcculloch@sky.com and the RAF FA Secretary Vince Williams vince.williams@royalairforcefa.com by cop Sun 14 Feb 2021.  The RAF FA Awards panel will then select the most deserving candidate based on the criteria laid out.  The winner will be announced at this season’s RAF FA Centenary Dinner and Presentation evening in May 2021.
