Safeguarding Children

Under 18s

The number of under 18s potentially playing football in the RAF is extremely small, however that opportunity exists and all individuals are encouraged to participate in what is the biggest sport within the RAF.

If you are under 18, serving in the military and wish to play football please contact your Unit Officer in Charge of Football (OIC) or contact the RAF FA HQ on 01993 895704 / 895989 in the first instance. The RAF FA is proud of its player development pathway.

The RAF Football Association's Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) is Sam Wheeler who can be contacted on 01993 895989 / 07496 855309 or by email at sam.wheeler@royalairforcefa.com

The RAF Football Association undertakes its Safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously, players and those running the game accross the RAF are strongly advised to check the following Safeguarding pages which provide guidance and policy.
