Charter Standard Clubs Benefit From McDonalds Kit Boost

Charter Standard Clubs once again have the opportunity to benefit from access to discounted kit courtesy of The FA’s partnership with McDonald’s.

Following on from the successful launch of the McDonald’s FA Charter Standard Kit Scheme – which entitles all under-7 to under-18 Charter Standard teams with one free Nike team kit each, The FA has now opened its kit store, which offers an opportunity for all accredited clubs to supplement their free youth kits with additional Nike kit and equipment across all age groups.

The direct link to the store is www.facharterstandard.co.uk/kitstore

The kit store is part of the ongoing commitment to support community football by McDonald’s and is exclusively available to FA Charter Standard Clubs - giving them exclusive access to Nike kit and equipment with a 20% discount.

All match shirts purchased from the store will be branded with the official McDonald’s FA Charter Standard patch. Additional patches are also available to purchase so you can apply them to your existing kits.

The Charter Standard initiative helps raise the standard of the grassroots game by ensuring that clubs meet and maintain certain standards.

All clubs signed up to the award undergo an annual review to ensure that they adhere the criteria to the criteria laid out by The FA and to identify areas for support of potential development.

The FA’s Director of National Game and Women's Football, Kelly Simmons said: “Achieving and maintaining Charter Standard status is a benchmark of quality for FA affiliated clubs.

“The ongoing support of McDonald’s for grassroots football is clearly evident and demonstrates their appreciation of the importance of developing this part of the game. And there is no doubting that for the clubs this is a welcome shot in the arm.”

The RAF FA currently has 25 FA Charter Standard Units, to find out more details please contact John Duff at RAF FA HQ on 95461 5989 / 01993 895989.
