The RAF FA would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of David ‘Geordie’ Salkeld after his sad passing last week.

A stalwart of the beautiful game and a good friend to many, he received the RAF FA Lifetime Achievement award in 2019 and The FAs 50 years’ service to football medal in 2021.

He will be sorely missed. 'RIP Geordie'.
